I need an urgent translation, can you provide it?
Yes, I can. I‘m a freelance translator, I manage my work schedule and my free time by myself. There is an additional charge of 10% for urgent translations. The same rate would apply for badly scanned or difficult to read documents.
I need to get a certified translation of my degrees and diplomas? How long will it take?
The Registry of the General Court of Bergamo, where I’m registered, is open to the public twice a week, therefore, you should count two or three working days.
What does a certified translation mean?
In Italy, translators registered to the Public Register as a Sworn Translator recognized by authorities can translate and legalize documents. A certified translation, also known as an official or sworn translation, is used commonly to translate official documents. The translator certifies the accuracy of the translation of original wording. The verifying authority (as notary, Registrar of the General Court or Prefectural Officer) confirms the validity of the certified translation with apostil stamps and applies the document in registers. In this case, the translator signing the document has full responsibility for the translation.
What is the difference between Translation Agency and self-employed specialist or freelancer?
First of all, the price; the freelancer can offer you cheaper rates. Secondly, the self-employed translator works without any time limits, also at weekends.
Moreover, is good to remember that if you decide to turn to a translation agency you will not be able to choose the translator, on the contrary you can choose the freelancer translator.

I’m a Russian citizen who decided to purchase some property in Italy. How I can request your assistance for closing a deal.
Please do not hesitate to contact me on my mobile phone or by e-mail and then to communicate my name to the chosen notary’s office or real estate assistant. If you have not anyone to help, I can suggest some notaries available to close your deed.
The appointed consultants have conducted the Due Diligence in relation to the property that I’m going to purchase. Consequently, having found some irregularities I require the assistance of a law firm which requested the certified translation of the results of the verification. Could you provide it?
Firstly, allow me to explain the meaning of certificated translated documents under oath (sworn translation taking an oath). It’s a translation accomplished by a sworn translator who subscribes the translated document and certifies the truthfulness of the wording. The translator also reproduces hereinafter the formula of an oath about “fulfilling the entrusted task in a proper and loyal manner and the sole purpose of truth telling” signed before the Public Official, pursuant to Article 5 of R.D. n° 1366/22 or in front of a notary pursuant to Article. 1, paragraph 1, point n° 4, of R.D. L. n° 1666/37.
I will be more than pleased to have the opportunity to collaborate with you.
You can contact me free of charge and without obligation.
